The Light

A Trauma-Informed Survival Guide to Grief

This isn't a book of platitudes, but honest, trauma-informed, practical support to help you navigate the depths of grief when your world comes crashing down.

It's the helpful guide I wish existed when I was in the worst season of my life. Combining personal experience, trauma-informed care, and original artwork, this book meets you exactly where you are — and reminds you that even in the darkest moments, you are not alone.

Ashley's Story

Grieving Mom to
Grief Specialist

My path through school was full of twists and turns that helped me find my way to myself. Although I didn't follow my original plan to become a doctor, I knew my heart wanted to help alleviate suffering.

Speaking & Book Signing Events

There's nothing I love more than speaking to audiences, harnessing the energy in the room, and taking everyone on a journey with their own revelations as the destination.

This year, there are smaller events and book signings that will be on the calendar. Intersted in working together or attending an upcoming event?

Crisis Mode: How To Lead
Through Grief

People aren't taught how to grieve, let alone how to support others in grief. But as a leader, you're expected to know how to show up in crisis. The stakes are high: productivity, company culture, employee retention, and reputation are just a few of the many elements impacted when grief shows up at work.

I help leaders know what to do, what to say, and how to create a culture of caring that turns grieving team members into life-long employees and advocates.
